Programmer (Level V)<BR>Newark, DE<BR>8 Months<BR><BR>Perform a variety of eCommerce Software Engineering and programming assignments requiring knowledge of established programming procedures and data processing requirements. This position will be responsible for design, engineering and modification of application components and programs. These resources would be used to support eCommerce Technology Lynch Transition projects.<BR><BR>Person should have at least 5 years experience with multiple large scale enterprise Java development applications. Extensive knowledge of Java J2EE, Struts 2, Spring, Hibernate, Content Management System Extensions, FTL, ORM. Web Services. A working and theoretical knowledge of Structured Program Design and Development methods. Experience with Component Based Software Architecture Design and Engineering<BR><BR>A candidate would need to have at least 10 years experience with coding, testing and troubleshooting high volume programming as well as a working knowledge for IBM hardware, database, and programming technology. Once the initial system is delivered the candidate will need to work to analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with extended technology teams. Confer with testers and other partnered groups to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs. Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls. Write and maintain programming documentation. Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed. Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.
