For immediate consideration, please email an updated resume and contact information to (see below) The responsibilities of this position include the following: <UL> <LI>Manage a team of 5 professionals</LI> <LI>Manage the accounting and financial reporting for the Firm's significant incentive and deferred compensation plans, including hedging strategies</LI> <LI>Manage and prepare SEC reporting</LI> <LI>Serve as the subject matter expert for the team in support of Human Resources, Legal Entity Controllers and Line of Business Controllers</LI> <LI>Prepare/Review routine analysis and answer ad hoc requests for analysis</LI> <LI>Provide analysis for plan design changes upon request</LI> <LI>Support Corporate Accounting Policies in handling technical accounting issues and questions</LI> <LI>Lead on-going project work</LI> <LI>Manage/Review relevant Sarbanes-Oxley work for the subject areas</LI> </UL><BR><BR> The skills, experience, and education required for this position include the following: <UL> <LI>At least a baccalaureate degree in Accounting</LI> <LI>CPA is required</LI> <LI>At least 10 years of financial reporting experience</LI> <LI>Public accounting experience is preferred (Big 6)</LI> <LI>SEC Reporting Experience</LI> <LI>At least 5 years of management experience</LI> <LI>Project management experience</LI> <LI>Equity compensation accounting experience is a plus</LI> <LI>Exceptional technical accounting, communication and process improvement skills</LI> <LI>Must be accustomed to working in a very fast paced environment with multiple shifting priorities</LI> <LI>Strong systems skills (Excel, SAP)</LI> <LI>Accustomed to balancing both business as usual work and project work</LI> <LI>Strong leadership mentality and work ethic "do what it takes" attitude</LI> <LI>Strong problem solving skills including design and implementation of solutions to technical accounting issues</LI> <LI>Flexibility</LI> <LI>Aptitude to quickly learn and apply technical accounting processes</LI> <LI>Strong attention to detail</LI> </UL>df-lj More...
